Dee Everhart has hand and machine
sewn custom items for most
of her life. She began specializing
in custom quilts in the late
1980's, and continues to refine
her craft. In the mid 1990's Dee
began to experiment with adding
embroidered items to her quilt
designs. This technique led to some of the more intricate,
colorful and unique quilts
available on the market today.
Dee's quilts can only be purchased
through The Quilting Dee.
Dee lives at and co-manages Tanbark Acres, a Friesian horse farm/ranch in Cana
Virginia, with her husband Carlton. Dee is also the proprietor, manager,
creative influence, and inspiration for The Quilting Dee.
